Cabo Blanco is in the residential district of El Arenal which is situated on the south eastern coast of the island, and is approximately 12 kms from Palma. Cabo Blanco is quiet and tranquil, but offers a traditional atmosphere to suit all ages.
The Ola Maioris Hotel is a delightful hotel, and which contains 3 buildings surrounded by glorious gardens where guests can stroll and enjoy the wonderful climate. It offers many magnificent facilities which includes the Ola Club Active allowing you to experience sports such as horse riding bicycle trips, organised trips, banana ski, parachuting, jet skiing, diving (including introduction to diving with compressed air cylinders in the swimming pool), snorkelling, hiking (not 15 June to 15 September), three trips around Palma, massage, day out to Es Trenc beach (high season), gym and sauna (some of these activities incur an additional charge).
Children are catered for with their own swimming pooland activities organised by hotel staff. All guests can enjoy the entertainments programme for both daytime and evenings or if preferred, simply relax by the pool with a good book. The Ola Maioris offers its guests a professional service with a smile, and for those visitors wishing to spend a day at the beach there is also a courtesy bus service 6 days per week, and for shopping trips to the capital City of Palma, the courtesy bus is available once a week.

The All Inclusive programme consists of breakfast (7.45 am to 10 am), lunch (1 pm to 3pm) and dinner (6.30 pm to 9 pm) all served buffet style in the main restaurant (vegetarians will find a good choice of dishes). With meals local beer, wine, water and soft drinks are offered (self service). Snacks (selection of fruit, cookies, chips, cheese, salads, ham, bread and butter) are served from 10 am to 11 pm at the pool bar. Ice cream is offered from 10.30 am to 11 pm. Locally produced alcoholic drinks (whisky, brandy, gin, rum, martini, fruit liqueurs, sangria and whisky cream), soft drinks, juices, water, beer and hot drinks are served from 10 am to 11 pm.

Volleyball, aqua aerobics, water polo, basketball, 5 a side football, rifle/pistol shooting, table tennis, mini golf tennis tournaments and archery. Evening activities are organised by the entertainment team. For children, there is a baby club (2 to 4 years old, 6 days a week, 10.30 am to 1.30 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm), mini club (5 to 12 years old, 6 days a week, 10.30 am to 1.30 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm), teenagers club (13 to 16 years old) and mini disco (every night).

Aqualand Waterpark
The large waterpark, on the outskirts of town boasts numerous rides, ranging from the more sedate to high octane favourites such as 'The Tornado' and 'The Boomerang'.
The Caves of Drach- Porto Cristo
Probably the most well known and popular tourist attraction in Majorca is the Caves of Drach. You will be taken on a journey through the three chambers inside the caves, with a spectacular finale alongside the river with musicians playing classical music. The caves have some magnificent stalagmites protuding from the rockface and stalactites hanging down from the roof of the cave.
Soller Railway Antique Train
First opened in 1912, the Soller Railway offers the best way to see Majorca - taking in the olive groves of the South West right through to the stunning Tramuntana Mountains. The train is a grand and impeccably well-maintained example of early 20th century design and the journey offers some unforgettable views and the chance to experience some genuine 'old world' charm. The route begins in Palma City centre and runs through to Puerto Soller in the North West.
Hit the cowboy trail to have some westernfun - Alcudia
At Rancho Grande you can have a day of horse riding through one of Alcudia's best country parks. Play at being a cowboy or cowgirl, wear the hats and trek off for a day of adventure. You will be treated to the Rancho barbeque whilst listening to some guitar music, and to finish the day off you will be invited to join in with the line dancing! There is also a mini zoo to amuse the children where they can get up close and personal with the tame animals. The Ranch is in Son Serra De Marina, just a few kms from the city centre of Alcudia.
Albufera Nature Reserve - Albufera
The area is home to hundreds of birds and wildlife along with some of the region's most beautiful flora and fauna. There are many natural lakes and canals where you can enjoy walking and looking at the scenery. Therre is also a small museum offering you a splendid chance to learn about the area.
Golf Fantasia
Situated near to the promenade in Palma Nova this is a golf course with a difference. There are 3 types of mini golf courses set inside a fantastic parkland with caves, waterfalls and lakes. There is also plenty of wildlife that inhabits the parkland.
Puig de Pollenca (Puig de Maria)
Situated atop a large hill (which confusingly has the same name) the Puig de Pollensa is a nun's monastery built in 1348. In fact, the monastery was still inhabited by nuns' right up until 1988. Its superb location offers unsurpassable views across the beautiful resort of Pollensa and the simple but beautiful furniture and architecture makes this a stunning place to visit for anyone visiting Majorca's picturesque North Coast.
