Reus Airport is located 3 km southeast of the city and 13 km from the Tarragona city centre.

Air traffic is characterised by a great number of international charter flights and by seasonal activity between May and October. The European Union passengers who use charter flights are mostly from the United Kingdom. Scheduled traffic is primarily with London-Stansted, Frankfurt, Dublin and Madrid-Barajas.

Thanks to the "low-cost" airlines, Reus Airport has enjoyed major growth in the last two years, with 1,382,257 passengers during 2005: a 21.5% increase compared to 2004. Furthermore, it handled 24,481 flight operations and 17 tonnes of cargo.

Driving Directions for Reus Airport:
The airport can be reached directly from the T-11 national road. The average journey time from Reus varies between five and fifteen minutes and, from Tarragona, between ten and twenty-five, depending on traffic and the time of the year.
